Barn Owl
Nancy wishes to preserve the idea of the home as a sanctuary. In this artwork, which was inspired by a visit to an old farm, a female barn owl is perched warily in the hayloft. Partly hidden in the shadows, she stands watch over the entrance to her home and the owlets inside.
This original acrylic painting on linen canvas measures "20x24" and is appropriately framed in rustic grey barnwood.
